Linda Hoffman-Peterson

Linda Hoffman-Peterson, age 81, of Canton, died Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, at The Pines Healthcare Center in Canton, following a period of declining health.

Linda was born on July 5, 1941, in Canton, Ohio, to Walter and Frances (Howell) Hoffman and graduated from Glen Oak High School in 1959. She graduated from Drew University in Madison, NJ, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and earned a Master of Divinity from the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, OH.

She was a homemaker and a substitute teacher in the Canton area schools. Most recently she served as a Pastor for United Methodist Church, in the East Ohio Conference for several years, retiring in 1998.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1556 Rex Drive, Orrville, from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm.
